Privacy Policy for Confident Cash

Last Updated: June 22, 2025

Your privacy is incredibly important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what your rights are.

Who we are

Confident Cash is a mobile application and website designed to help adults with dyscalculia build confidence in handling cash.

The information we collect

We collect two types of information, and only what is necessary to build and improve our service.

1. Waitlist information (website only)

If you choose to sign up for our waitlist on our website, we collect your email address.

2. Anonymous usage analytics (website & app)

To understand how our app is used and how to make it better, we collect anonymous data about how you interact with the service. This includes things like which lessons are most used, how long a practice session lasts, and which features are popular.

This data is completely anonymous. We cannot tie it back to you personally. We do not know who you are.

We use a trusted third-party service called Posthog for product analytics.

How we use your information

Your Email Address: We will only use your email address to notify you when the Confident Cash app is launching and to provide information about getting early access. We will not spam you or sell your email to anyone.

Anonymous usage data: We use this data to improve the app. For example, if we see that many users struggle with a particular lesson, we know we need to make that lesson clearer or provide more practice.

Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We do not display advertisements in our app.

Our only third-party service provider is Posthog, which processes anonymous usage data on our behalf so we can analyze and improve our product.

Your rights (under GDPR and other regulations)

You have rights over your information. Because we collect very little personal data, these rights primarily apply to your email address if you have joined our waitlist.

Data security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the information we collect. However, no internet-based service is 100% secure.

Children’s privacy

Confident Cash is designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you, for example by posting a notice on our website.
